The Culturally Incoherent Economy 7

I really don't know whether European Companies manufacteuring in the US will start manufacteuring in China or not. It is hard to say because of Europe's ingrained prejudices against China. But I'm sure that it will be seriously considered for this reason:
A perfect monopoly created by the dominance of the major players in the industry will create a need for more uniquely differentiated products. Prices will be similarly high, but will offer good quality products. This will be perceived as a threat by the European market and they will act accordingly.
So again, middle class income will be cut. Good grandfathers and grandmothers will help out.
The US without a middle class may work economically better, but culturally, there will be utter tension and even chaos. Marxist ideology will take over the workingclass.
