The Christmas Circus came to town
and snowmen were its white faced clowns;
they juggled snowballs then, instead,
they took off and juggled their heads.
The ringmaster was Santa Clause
and to an eager crowds applause
his reindeers, on the high trapeze,
went flying through the air with ease.
And then a tumbling troupe of twelve
amazing acrobatic elves
did flips and somersaults with glee
and formed a human Christmas tree
Then, while a trumpet tune was played,
a big toy animal parade
of bears and lions and tigers too
marched round the big top, two by two.
And all the little girls and boys
cheered as they saw the marching toys
then Santa, after all the fun,
said, “Merry Christmas Everyone”.
