Where is life going?
I do ask myself,
Awaiting a day of fulfilment,
With only body in health
I carry the motions,
Say hello to friends,
Yet where is life going?
It’s but a series of ends
Travel the world,
View one and all,
Each must see this place,
Spirit’s answer to call
The question you ask:
When will this unfold?
This achievement of life,
Found in lands of old?
Must all go to sea,
To keep in good heart?
Or may one remain here,
To guide others to start?
The world is an oyster,
But alas, so a shell,
We remain all within it,
Most see pearl only to sell
Escape is the answer
So the prison is key,
To allow us all opportunity
To fully be free
