Anima and animus short story
I'd like to know what people make of this wierd tale. It seems an over-simplified attempt to personify the archetypes of anima and animus to me but is very visual and memorable. What do you all think?
I thought there were bits that were overwritten, but then occasional lovely flourishes like ' I looked over at my lovely wife, who was sitting in a rowing machine' and 'the old ice excuse just won't wash'.
Reminded me of Danielwski's "House of Leaves"
