Rear Window

Through a narrow window
two shadows caressing
An outline of lustful limbs
twining in a secret pose
Two hearts clouded in a foggy mist
Shrouded from the decorum
that binds the light to the day
Sentient corridors encumbered
by dusk's palling blinds, but translucent
glass shielding neither form nor mold
Graceful folds of primped skin
gnarled in the night's, sweating pane
Sweet whispers of tender passion
muffled by an eerie wind that sings
a dark requiem to two, fallen stars
whose sparkle seethes then sputters
through the duplicitous blinds
incubating the heat; shading the deceit
Red lips that dripped with morning dew
now purple, swollen slits spewing a black venom
Twinkling eyes that reflected the noonday sun
morphing into glowing orbs that gild a dark galaxy
Tidy, golden-brown fibers of hair coiffed for the doting eye
becoming disheveled, silver strands that cover titillated busts
In the pale, gaunt moonlight, the pallid contours of two, flickering lamps
gasp for the last few drops of amour's, fleeting oil
before the sun's, bright beams expose their tawdry portrait

nice change from the pallor
nice change from the pallor of night to the tawdiness of the day's (attitudes not actual)
a strange and normal tale.
