Looking back on the life I've led
Cant help but think of the skins ive shed
The layers which I peeled apart
Seem a shadow of my torrid start

Of adolescence and na?ve dreaming
Of sexual tension and crazy screaming
To the laughs and love im feeling at present
After all this time im finally content

Content with the people I know
And content with whats on show
And whilst this worlds going down the drain
Im on top of it..raiding the rain

As it tumbles down into the greatest void
And all around me is destroyed
I will clutch my friends and loved ones dear
And with their help. I will steer

Steering the world to its greatest finale
Like some crazy crude cross-cosmos rally
A joint In hand and a wooden stare
Wishing to be this planets heir

The craziest v.I.p party would ensue
a country each for my mates to pursue
And id ride around with the wind in my face
My smile untouched as I quicken the pace

Embracing the laced breeze as it crosses my path
No hatred here, no vengeful wrath
Just a swallows music and a gentle trip
Across grateful waters my boat would skip

And when I reach the promised land
With a lever and a rock I will stand
Alone at the top of the highest high
One thing above me. A blood red sky
