Teddy bears are lovely
Teddy bears are fun,
When I was little
I used to have one,

He had a red ribbon
tied into a bow,
Wherever I went
My teddy would go,

He looks a bit sad now
he's only got one eye,
Some stuffing is missing
I know I could cry,

When the dog got him
and ripped off his ear,
I stitched it up neatly
it looks rather queer,

He sits on my bed
Looks sad and depressed,
He's there when I sleep
wake up and get dressed,

He's seen me grow up
through good times and bad,
I love him to bits
you may think me mad,

He always is with me
I couldn't want more,
I'll never replace him
now I'm eighty-four,

He played with my children
and their children too,
My bestest friend ever
whose name is .........
