But I digress. Meghan already has one son, so she might have been a good Queen for Henry VIII, and may well have produced many more, so she might well have kept her head? Interestingly Prince Harry, who she is actually married to, is another name for Henry, so she might have suited Henry?

     Strangely, while most people covet the throne and would like to be Kings or Queens, if they ever got the chance, no sooner had Meghan Markle married her Prince than she decided to drag him off the throne (or away from it), and escape from the royal duties to the West Coast of America (which is not even part of the erstwhile British Empire)!

     Admittedly the Prince Harry is not the next in line to the throne. That line follows Prince Charles, to Prince William et cetera. Nonetheless it is a further sign of the decline of Royal power that Princes and Duchesses can be so easily put off sticking around to claim what could, you never know how distantly, possibly be theirs!
