unreasonable?

We have turned Reason
Into a scintillating, delicately
incisive knife,
We can dissect arguments, people, cultures
We have methodologies for methodology
that methodically deconstruct
Pretty much anything we choose to turn them on.
This is an interesting tool, and after all,
a sharp knife is indubitably better
than a blunt one,
and we no longer try to cut up arguments (and their propagators)
with the blunt hammer
of blind faith
I, however, would like to bring things together
help breath life
into bright plans and hopes for
the planet,
humanity,
not flaunt, my ability
to chop.
