Your house creaks
As it settles
On the seabed
Like a petal
Tickle slippers
In the larder
Cough a poppy
Piggy parlour
Clicking lock
Plucking rhythms
Out of feathers
Shake a stirrup
Tighten tethers
Batten hatches
Ticky tocky
Lick a lolly
Then stop.

Dylan Thomas always used the first line
Dylan Thomas always used the first line of a poem for the title also. Individual poets always have some personal peculiarity.
This one reminds very much of your early poems & very nice and I like the conclusion especially. Stop!
