Just enough pressure

Becoming sensitive to
Dis-ease. Fear. To the point
Where you stare at the
Spew on the floor
In horror
That your body might
Protest so much
When you thought it would be 'alright'
''It's all part of getting older''
Her Mum proffered,
''Being afraid''.
''Fear doesn't belong to old age'', she replied,
''It's just worked through more logistically in youth, or ignored.''
Age requires oiling of joints
So they don't seize under the lactic stress perhaps
And rest. No over indulgence
Understanding perameters. Finite
Like the money plant; flowering.
