Imagine...a few years hence

Look at them growling and barking
Spit flying from their jaws
There're eating truly as beasts
Releasing their wind into the
Putrid air behind them
The few people still around
Don't seem to notice the pollution
They smile and greet each other
Exuberantly

I see their photographs turning
A dirty shade of grey
Their breath oozes out as black paste
the colour of the of the buildings
that surround them
their appearance is nondescript
boring
their offspring looks with surprise
at the colour green on the tube
blue is unknown
still more dragons are being born daily
bearing names that resound
Rolls and Mitsubishi Chrysler and
Mercedes
A Ferrari and a Porsche are licking greedily
The sweet black asphalt
Hurray for the internal combustion engine
