Really lovely words to describe such a parasite.
I particularly liked ...

the destiny of their branches
It fascinates me how nature can send something so small to do so...

It was as if George the Third and his cronies were selling England by the pound.
A good read.
Good on you!

I would much rather put my phone in the drawer for a final time and instead carry a camera, read a map, wear a watch, listen to vinyl albums on a turntable, etc. but sadly these big global telecommunications companies have got us by the Nureyevs...

I enjoyed this Rhiannon. I like the structure and rhyme of your poem as well as the amount of thought you have put into what food might be available and how it is prepared during a space flight.
The questionable food is one of the reasons...

Zing being the complete opposite to our feeling of Zzzz during the darker days.
I love the zing of spring. It fills me with a positive vibe. I've always loved January for this reason because, no matter what the weather throws at us, the...

The smell and sight of wood
Posted on Thu, 23 Dec 2021
The smell and sight of wood smoke is probably one of my favourite things about winter, even though it's a bit pollutiony. The smoke from the petchkas / wood stoves in our village each winter morning (except when it's windy) creates such a...
