My stories

Rulers judged too – Rule kindly!

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series] on Psalm 82 … For God assesses and is just … So, you who judge today, and rule – for truth you should be caring …

Whispered Infection

Whispers insinuate, slither in, infecting dripping twisted truth, injecting – subtly …

Cared For

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series] They know their Master’s voice …They follow at his call, and heed his every word, … He glances round the stars, far mightier is he, and yet he cares for foolish sheep and comforts lovingly.
Gold cherry

Grey-Day rambling

… around part of Wenlock Edge Squelchy mud – don’t slither, slide, slippery stile – its steps not wide enough for muddy boots to stand securely …...

Reconciled, then fostering peace

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series] So vast the chasm, huge the rift …What could he do? …to foster peace they’d now been freed!

You have managed to articulate so much, so clearly, so many feelings explained, carrying us right through the so difficult time, the emotions, and the coping. Rhiannon

I enjoyed this, thank you. Especially the first two stanzas, and the sense of  hush and quiet that snow brings. Rhiannon

Tina, it could so easily have been like that, but we were talking in a little study this week, how easily Joseph's strengths are forgotten, and not only does it say 'Joseph was a just (or righteous ) man and did not want to expose her to public...

The wildness of the sea and wind is so well described, and seems to fit the anguish, and the seeking to live on despite the anguish. Rhiannon

That is so interesting. I looked up the photograph (found it under his sub-section 'Assimilation') and looked up about sociable weaver birds, so have learnt some! I wasn't sure about 'Out-dated rest points', does it just refer to the telegraph...
