Week - 12

The Quarter Pole!

Well this isn’t anything like they promised in the brochure…

For the first time since starting this game, all twenty positions are in the negative! A hefty loss on the week overall as well. There was devastation, destruction, discontent, discord, disappointment, and woe! Oh the woe. Wow! The week wavered by almost $324. I’d have to check but that may be a single week record!     

The premise was previously posited that placing the provided sum in a more pusillanimous position would inevitably produce a far more positive outcome! (EEEeeehhhhhh.. Whew!!) DId that in one breath! Caterpillar was trading at $200 3 months ago. That same 5K$ would now be $6,027.50 or roughly a thirty three hundred dollar swing. Did I mention the woe? So much woe. 

Only one gain on the week. Great Panther Mining (GPL) reported a solid first quarter gain and soundly beat the analyst consensus estimate. This is usually a good thing however another of my positions reported even better results last week and promptly took a twenty percent nose dive! The market is a fickle beast.. Global Cannabis, still in the lead, is clinging to the slimmest of margins. The seventy two dollar ditch dive led the loser board this week. I fear (FUAPF) may further falter in the future...

Will patience prevail? With prayer and persistence, Perhaps!
