Microsoft updates (nightmare or my PC?)
When my windows 10 PC is hit (regularly) by a bunch of update it generally makes it impossible to use for at leat three hous, sometimes a half day. Is this normal or is my PC just too damn old.
I've heard that even on recent PCs on window 11 updates can take forever to download and install.
I was wondering what experiences other member are having with MS updates
I get updates too. Windows 10 is defunct (as you know). Mine is a dodgy copy of Windows 10 so its defuncter (not sure if that's a word). Also my dodgy copy of Windows 10 is uploaded by a gaming device. I'm sure you're finding all this very thrilling, but bear with me. Usually, I get the chance to update when I'm logging off late at night. After writing so much stuff that burns in people's memories, the machine needs time to cool. That's my way of thinking about it. But yeh, when I turn the machine on it works, with new updated crap Windows 10. But sometimes (most times) there is a glitch. I need to turn the machine on and off. That seems to work. I noticed threatening the machine also works. I'm not sure what works most effictively.
