So The Story Went!

You may have noticed, over the past 50 weeks, that a story (of sorts) has been rolling out on these august pages.  It's been quite a journey, not least for me!  Starting with the notion that Josiah might meet up with an old flame, we suddenly found ourselves plunged into the psychotic world of Precious and her lethal approach to Happy Families.  En route, Josiah and Archibald faced death by drowning, which revealed Archibald's heroic side, along with D.S. Stone, and Josiah risked being buried alive when he went to rescue Archibald.  There has certainly never been a dull moment and coming up with a new twist in the plot on a more or less weekly basis has been an interesting challenge.

Now we've reached the end of the tale (see So The Story Goes) and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself each week!  Writing a series like this is a wonderful discipline because it forrces me to write something every week, whcih probably wouldn't happen otherwise.  In the short term, I need to format the series so that it can be published as a novel in both Kindle and paperback versions..  Then, I need to come up with an idea for a brand new series.  Watch this space, as they say!
