Never Give Up

Richard L. (Laurent) Provencher is my name; born Sept. 10, 1942 in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. Married Esther (Ogden) March 27, 1975 in Sarnia, Ontario. Three of our children live in Ontario and British Columbia - our youngest son age 52 passed away in 2021 from lung problems. My wife & I live in Truro, Nova Scotia.

My brain aneurysm in 1999 retired me from the working world, three months after my job of 14 years was phased out. Years of challenges were overcome with love, prayers, medical attention from wife, family, friends and doctors.

Praying for others, Writing and Posting on ABCtales.com and Online Chess helped my brain rejuvenate.

Life can be good. Blessings to all those who join my wife & I in our mutual journey.

Hi Richard,

I can imagine you've had many adventures, especially in your younger days surrounded by all that beauty. Your love for nature and the great outdoors shines through in your writing.

I do hope you have many more years of sharing stories and poem on abc tales. It's also wonderful to have the support of your wife and family to give that security we all need.

Keep well and safe.

Best wishes,

Jenny.

yes, be blessed.

I need to take up online chess again. Keep writing and keep well. Both of you, of course. Paul
