Story, Poem and Inspiration Point of the Week.

This week's winning story is told from the perspective of a young girl and the narrator's voice is utterly convincing. Fantastic sentiments on show but never sentimental. Well done love_writing for:
The contributions from the poets this week has made picking a winning submission nigh on impossible. In the end I had to settle on a tie between Last Request by EB:
it's a poem that at once touches on minute details and universal themes, and
a contribution to Vera Clark's immensely successful Poetry Monthly initiative takes joint first place. It's a poem that is surprising and taught, personal and overarching. Chinook by Philip Sidney is superb:
Inspiration Point
For this week's inspiration point I'd like to suggest the theme of meteorology and that you take it in any direction you'd like!
Good luck everyone and have a great sun-filled weekend,
Peter.
