HAVE YOU TRIED? #1: Sending an email to another ABCtales User
Posted by tcook on Wed, 10 Aug 2005
One of the most exciting things about putting your writing onto ABCtales is getting feedback from your fellow users. One way that this happens is through discussion in the 'Discuss Writing From ABCtales.com' discussion forum. Another, more personal way that this happens is through contact by email.
When you read something on ABCtales, why not take the time to send its author an email saying why you liked it or suggesting some things that could make it better?
You can do this by first clicking their username as it appears on their story or poem. This will appear below the story or poem title. Clicking this will take you to the personal page of that author. Below their name on that page you will see a tab marked 'contact'. This will lead you to a form where you can send an email to that author.
This is a really good way of getting to know people, sharpening your critical skills and also getting some feedback on your own work. If you give people a bit of feedback, they're far more likely to give you some in return.
Come on, it'll only take a few minutes and it won't be long before we all get an email from an ABCtales user that we've never met before!
