The Puppets of Janus

The Puppets of Janus
Is a collection of poems that deal with the struggles of knowing what you want to do with your life.
I have written the poems from my viewpoint and my own experiences, I have entitled the collection “ The Puppets of Janus” because I feel that even when you have finally decided on a career or path to take in life destiny always has a finally say.
I have used Janus the Roman god of “Transitions and beginnings” to symbolise destiny and “Puppets” to show our lack of control.
I think there will be a balance of positive and negative poems in this collection, I think most of them will have a confusing tone to them as I feel this reflects the confusing position we all face in “choosing” these paths.
