Loneliness Is by Doors Slowly Closing

I know rhyming poetry isn't the plat du jour for many ABC-ers, but I like this one. A stark little poem, the rhymes seem to 'close' it somehow, make it feel claustrophobic. Good!

I can't get the hyperlink up. Has the format changed? I've typed it in but I don't see it posted. Help!
Thank you for that. I have nothing at all against rhyme.. I think that it does me good sometimes, giving some structure to my emotions. I don't pretend to be a good poet.. all I want is to get it out, make it feel like how I feel. Sorry, rambling.. just thank you for your input.
lol. Archer has said what I meant. But I'll say this it is my favorite of ur stories doors.

Give me the beat boys and free my soul! I wanna getta lost in ya rock n' roll and drift away. Drift away...

No, I have nothing against rhyming, either; in fact, I sometimes obsessively write whole stanzas in limerick! All I meant was, most of the poetry cherrypicked by Those Who Highlight Good Works, is seldom in rhyme. It's a personal preference, I think.
(whoosh) Most of what you said flew by me. I'm just kidding, rhyming is the best part of poetry for me.

Give me the beat boys and free my soul! I wanna getta lost in ya rock n' roll and drift away. Drift away...
