Agreed - this has changed for the better since I first read it. I love "Let me into your houses!" The tone is joyful and scary at the same time - how is that possible? I think this evokes a very unusual combo of emotions. And the idea of someone only stealing slippers and milk from porches is class! What a treat. Cherry, mayhaps? Joe
