Kawazu loves rain
Fine poem with great imagery.
The opening "Escaping from a house where the conversation
is ugly surfaces, insinuations, and set formulae delivered
as if at an audition," grabs the reader immediately.

I really liked this too. The dragon-scales image is fantastic, and what I really like about Chant's work is that he doesn't overuse imagery - usually only one or two strong visual ideas in a short poem.
