this was well told and so poignant - 'what if knitting needles hadn't been invented' Such an innocous item - yet... .Juliet

I really enjoyed this story too. It really gripped me. I thought the style it was written in was excellent.

i enjoyed most of this but found the ending overly sentimental. and hallelujah for birth control and abortions. :)

Liked it a lot - goes into dark, sad areas without hitting the reader over the head with moral conclusions.

Thanks Neil, I noticied one of your poems was entitled similar to my darker stories. "here be Dragons". It was a good poem & deserved the Cherry.
