No further moves on limiting uploads evidently.

One Biggus poem a day would be enough. (I would say more than enough but I'm being nice). The guidelines say something like maximum four uploads a day. There's ten this morning from you (again) Mr. Biggus. You are pushing everything else down the list, and other poeple don't get as much exposure as they should. Give it a rest eh?

Funny - I was just going to post a comment along the same lines. You beat me to it, Cath. I understood that three or four posts a day was about the max to allow room for everyone and to stop anyone in particular from hogging the limelight. I noticed the other day that someone had posted 14 poems, one after the other. I've posted two together before now and I felt a bit guilty about that, wishing I'd separated them out. Glad someone else feels the same as I do about this. Maybe the answer, for people who want to put huge numbers of posts on at once, would be to post them as a collection - i.e. all on one post, separated by an * or something. The post title could indicate the content, and the excerpt give a few first lines. Then people are free to choose whether to investigate further based on what they see and whether they like the work of the writer in question.
I agree, there has been rather a lot of 'flooding' lately and to be honest it isn't in the best interests of the writer to post loads at once as it makes it incredibly difficult to read subjectively when they appear never-ending.

This is a discuss writing forum, for writing on this website. Authors do not have the luxury of dictating the types of responses their work might elicit. Most of us here are mostly chilled, and the only sure-fire way to prevent commenting is not to post in the first place.
As I said, I was being nice. Relieved you are addressing the volume.
amazing
