I don't think he should be hanged.
He would be great in the Celebrity Big Brother household next week.
Weirder things have happened.
Could be the greatest comeback since Elvis went to Vegas
too late...
Looks like it.
Could be a cunning stunt though.
Those channel 4 guys,,,,,,
ha
now that really would be worth watching
Great idea. I think my CBB house list would be:
Saddam
Bush
Blair
Osama
Janet Street-Porter
Naomi Campbell
Victoria Beckham
Ant or Dec
Edwina Currie
Nigella Lawson
Michael Jackson
Arsene Wenger
I think Saddam could win it in his current condition. I know I'd be voting to keep him in there with the rest of them as long as possible.
Are any of those REALLY celebrities, Eamonn?
I guess I'm just nit-picking because from the names I see in the press as being on the programme, (I've never seen the show and at my age I have too little time left to waste on that crap), they probably rank as much the same.
Anyway, I couldn't be happier that the evil bastard is dead, I just hope they don't put the rope away before they deal with the rest.
What's Piggot done to deserve that?
Oh yeah, he was the head bitches favourite jockey!
I was tempted to ask if Elvis presently singing in Vegas cause that would be a comeback from the same position Saddam finds himself in.
Of couse the trial etc was unfair but remember he never denied anything, just used being the president as an excuse.
I oppose the death penalty but I don't know about locking him up forever. As a child I remember anually seeing one of the Nazi's walking round the exercise yard alone in a Canadian jail, may have been Rudolph Hess I don't know, all I saw was an old, unthreatening, insane man walking in circles. For those old enough to remember his crimes it was okay, for those that didn't fully understand the gravity of what the Nazi's had done it was somewhat different.
As Missi said yesterday he should have been shot in the hole, he may have been seen as a hero, (obviously it would have been made to look like he came out with guns blazing), but he would have gone without the controversy.
I must admit a grudging admiration for the old bastard. Throughout he's remained so defiant, really saying fuck you to the west.
Reminds me of a skinhead down at Dartmoor, didn't like him, but on his head he had racist tatoos and he kept his head shaved. He got his lights knocked out on a fairly regular basis, (he wasn't a hard man), but he kept his head shaved. How many people would have just grown their hair to hide their beliefs? Even those that sparked him as they passed had that same grudging respect. (That's just to explain why I have a grudging respect before people think I condone the behaviour of Saddam).
