hello.Does anybody know how i would go about changing my username.I know this isn't about the writing on ABC tales but im going crazy here.

It looks like you may be able to do it by :
1) Click on 'My account' (right hand side of screen)
2) Click on 'Edit' tab
3) Click on 'Personal Details'
4) Change the name in 'Your Name'
5) Click on 'Submit' at the bottom of the page.
Please let me know if it works.

I can see now that the name in that field does not have to be the same as your username.
Depending on how the system is designed, the problem with changing the username is perhaps that all records (personal detail, poems, comments etc) relating to you will have a key which identifies you eg tarashannon/taraspoem1 and a special program may need to be written to change all of those keys to include your new username but this will cost money.
The other option would be to create a new username and copy all of your work to that but you would lose all comments and cherries.
You could of course create a new user name and then create a 'Collection' in which you put a link back to your old username. I don't know if that would give you what you want?
I think that Tony Cook and FTSE100 (see the 'Meet The Team' link at the bottom of this page) are the best people to put your request to. It is just possible that one of them may know of a hidden feature which could help you.
