wasted time
Why cannot your system allow you editing of you poetry (not just the title) such as at other sites like poetrypoint.com or poetry.com ?? I got so fed up trying i just took out the ABCs instead - pointless!
In case you did'nt get the reply - i speak english very well but as i'm not into replying to snide remarks i'll just say that my point is that when i tried to edit words in the poem the whole thing was repeated with the corrections as well as the previous one i had just edited - got it? And as a network engineer working for a comp company i do understand - i should be able to delete a poem or part poem without deleting the ABC or is there something i'm missing?????
You can edit a poem without deleting the whole ABC, I don't understand why that happened.
Click on submit-manage on the navigation bar, and then click on edit on the relevant ABC set. Then click on `edit` on the relevant story. The story is presented in it's original format for editing. If you are doing that already I don't know why it's going wrong!
Yes - GOT IT.
It wasnt a snide reply, it was a query - as your first post didn't make a great deal of sense - re read it, and I'm sure you'll see why the confusion.
As a matter of fact, I've never had any problems editing the ABC set's - and as a teacher not a "network engineer" that's obviously a feat if you're finding it that difficult.
Perhaps if you had actually stated what the problem was, someone may have answered you earlier: "Why cannot your system allow you editing of you poetry" is about as clear as mud.
Mark has given a perfectly fluent and clear answer though, as you can see.
Here's hoping you have no further problems.
I look forward to reading your work.

ha?
i imagine, Liana, that Martyn doesn't, in fact, speak English, and has employed a computer translation program.
they never quite work.
