Manners

Not so much rules, as a reminder to some people about manners.

When posting on the forum :-

Try to go by your abc name, especially if expressing a strong view.

Don't pretend to be someone else who posts on the forums.

If you're bored by a conversation, don't join in. Go and find a better one, start a better one, or just do something else.

Treat people with courtesy and respect - if you disagree with them, say so, but argue your point, rather than just descend into personal abuse. You can disagree with someone without disliking them.

Making offensive remarks about someone without any humour or grace is childish and tiresome and only one person ever comes out of it badly. Doing it without even having the guts to give your actual name or a real email address rates as slightly less mature than playing knock and run.

I agree, although guilty of strong views, I am not guilty of anonyminity. (hope I spelt that right?) AJ

Signing anon is cowardice. Stand up and be read, I say.

I totally agree with Andrew! Pretending to be someone else is really bad form. buster bloodvessel *lifts up dress, shouts woohoo and exits to can can tune*

Strong views? What you Jackie? I can't believe that! Andrew dear boy, the people that behave in such a bad way are hardly likely to respond to gentle coaxing to reform now are they? And as for the rest, they behave gracefully anyway!
