Because I was unable to see you all at this wonderous event, I got pissed anyway and watched a crap film and now I having two night caps before bed! Did you have a good night?

Equally drunk. It ws ACE. Ralph rocked (foxier than I imagined too)! Juno smouldred (and was very funny) Everyone else (and I'm to drunk to remember all the names despite them being on the front page for the last week!) was brilliant. Best night yet. very pleased none the less to have shared such a pleasant and entertaining evening with y'all. This was great fun. Looking forward to the next one already. And the venue was very good; even the sound system worked reasonably well. Excellent choice.

....Well done Ralph, takes a lot of bottle to get up on the stage....and certainly a lot of bottles were consumed aftyer you got off the stage..Ralph can now testify that I do exist, I'm not a virtual invention, met Karl Wiggins too, I was so wrong about him....lovely man...please do not criticise him....briefly met Justyn Thyme but didn't get the chance to talk...and the divine Emily...who kept me at the bar until 1.30am, long after the last tube, had to wait for a night bus, got to bed at about 2.30 and was late for work this morning....but what a great night...roll on the next one keep on abctaling

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all, that Liana was found dead by the pc only ten minutes ago.... I was alerted by the sounds of great mirth emanating from the room...this thread was on the screen. At least she died happy.....

Although slightly biased, Of course Ralph is a fox, But To hear "Oxford Blue" read aloud. Perfect. As a novice to the site, I was absolutely blown away by the evening. And it was great to meet Karl after Ralph's ravings. Jane 'privy to the fox'

You mean Ralph doesn't read romantic poetry aloud to you Jane ? Tell me, how cross did he get this week when he didn't get to see the page celebrating him as Story and Poem of the Day ? It is, so far as I know, the first time that has happened on same day. Slightly miffed myself, because I wrote some really nice copy for the Poem...

I, also, can confirm the evening a great success. Thoroughly enjoyed the company of Ralph, Martin T and Emily. Great people, all of them. Sorry for shooting off so quickly without buying you a return drink, Emily. I suddenly noticed the last tube was leaving. Justyn, sorry to have missed you. Karl
