Gertrude Story

This is an author I just started reading - I have a book of her short stories - Over Sixty

It isn't dull and dozey like so many stories written by older people - it's a real slice of life

What I like about Gertrude is that she shows her reader that just because a body's over fifty, doesn't mean they're dead, y'know?

I'm going looking for Gertrudes Story. Thank you for the recommendation. In Japan, a person does not reach adulthood until their fifith birthday. Sigh a nora

Dear WildWittyWoman, So kind of you to concede that us over 50s still have a role to play :-) I can assure you I'm very far from dead...

I also am over fifty, and I must say I'm not half the man I never used to be! I say, this 'Inastorm' is a damn fine Port, what?
