I mentioned this book before on Liana's "need something badly" thread but I felt it was so good it deserved a thread all of its own!!

I quite enjoyed it. It just seemed a bit simplistic and possibly patronising. the stereotype of the enormous black woman roaming around dispensing good in a 'kooky' style just seemed a touch Hollywood. I was thinking in some ways it was like a children's book, I guess because it has that simplicity, I guess I like simplicity!

I enjoyed it but the editing is terrible! A mistake on nearly every page and a few glaring plot errors. Have got tears of giraffe but my sister says that's even worse for spelling and continuity bloopers - I'm too anal to read it without getting irritated.
