Robert James Waller

You remember Robert James Waller. He wrote "Bridges of Madison County" amongst others.

Well, I'm currently reading "Old Songs in a New Cafe" which is excellent, but check out this amazingly prophetic line penned in 1988:

"Besides, one the Arabs get their act together, New York will cease to exist."

Well, New York does still exist of course, but sometimes people who ltravel very close to nature and who live their lives unmoved by current demands for convention have a way of tuning into upcoming events that is denied lesser souls like you and I
