does anyone know of good websites that can help you get a little income from manuscripts? I saw one called freeyourimagination.com, and it looked good, but I wanted to check out my options...

that's a shite site. Bad reputation. No good. crap. boring. badly managed. no good. poor. rubbish. slow. shit. bent. spam. Try www.bbc.co.uk. ;) There's nothing more mind-teasing than the incomprehensible eagerly avowed - Dennett

Very useful, thanks. I'm not really certain how a website can be bent, though. Anything other than the bbc?

Russell, People will not pay to read your unpublished stories online. No one will pay to read anyone's unpublished stories online. You will not believe me but in a few months you will discover that this is true. Writers who are already know this is true, will not join your venture. When advertising your site on other writing websites in future, it would make more sense to be open about who you are. Cheeers.

I wonder why salesmen fail to register the simple idea that good old plain honesty and straight-up-manship MIGHT reap better results than the delusion that potential customers are mere dead-legs waiting to be indebted.
