Glitch?

Seems to be a problem with paragraphing. One long block of text. (Writer's block?)

My paragraphs have disappeared now. I am sure its something to do with the version of Word I am using (Bloody windows 8).

i put a period between each verse of my poems....breaks them up and barely noticeable
