Friends, this is blatant self-promotion, and I apologise for using the forums for this purpose. However, I'm not too sure how else I'd get the message out to ABC Tales writers.

I've just published my first Amazon Kindle book, "Calico Jack in your Garden," which can be downloaded to Kindle, Ipad or Iphone.

For £0.77p how can you go wrong?

Thanks J, I've just been given a bollocking from my missus about the Cab Driver photo. She says its not appropriate. I just thought it would sell more books than a picture of a mini-cab. I've had to change it to a really cheesy one of me, which is a bit embarrassing. (Cab Driver's not free from midnight, by the way, just Calico ...)

That's wonderful Karl- Congrats and Good Luck. I don't have a Kindle or Iphone or Ipad. I would like to have a Kindle but they are holding them back in this country for some reason? ;)Pia

You mean to buy a book you have to get dressed, drive to the book store, find a parking space, search through all the books for the one you want, drive home again, back into your jimmy-jams and then start reading!!! What an interesting concept! :-)

I just order them on the internet and they are delivered to my door- no problemos. And they have real pages- I like that. But Yes most Danes buy books at bookstores or in supermarkets- but as I read in english and english books are much cheaper in the UK or the US I order them on the internet.
