Slip of the Hand

As a new member, this was my first read here, and a good one it was, too. Although the ending was not a surprise, the telling of the tale was excellent - very polished, with great imagery.
I liked the style of dialogue, with the 'thought bubbles' tagged on, but the ending was my favourite piece - short, sweet and well put.
