I think I commented on her language deficit on a thread here some time ago. I pointed out if that's the product of a 20k a year private school, I'd sue the school for damages. The modern phenomenon of 'like' usage winds me up even more than Jafaican does. I have to move seats on the bus if I am near people talking in this way and I certainly couldn't work or socialise with them. Elitist? Probably. Or maybe just a plain old-fashioned snob. I don't seem to be able to help myself. I didn't wake up one morning and decide to mount a hate campaign against these people. To me, this has the same effect as nails down blackboards.
