A Violent Video But A Good Cause.

This is a video of Democracy in action.

Thai’s being shot and killed in Bangkok last year while demonstrating against a Primes Minister - who they believed had been ’appointed’ to the job by the army and its PAD pressure group - demanding fresh elections.

The People’s Power party which had won a recent election was banned from politics for alleged voting irregularities ( involving an amount of people which was a drop in the ocean compared to their winning majority) and Abhisit Vejjajiva, a British National, as leader of the opposition Democrats was somehow able, allegedly with the help of the army, to ’cobble together’ a coalition and take the job he had twice failed to get by Democratic election.

It is well over a year ago now, since over 90 people were killed and thousands were wounded but the government says it does not know who did the shooting.

All the evidence points to the army but they deny it.
If it wasn't the army then who else?

Most videos and pictures were conficated by the authorities but a few make it to You Tube.

A lot has happened since and now the elections that so many suffered and died for have finally arrived.

Check out Abhisit on Facebook to hear his side of the story...
