A call for auction items
I've run out of stuff to auction at the reading evening on Tuesday and I'm absolutley brassic so I am wondering if anyone could bring along something to auction.
It could be something you don't use any more or don't need.
The money raised all goes to Railway Children, which helps runaways and street children.
Please come along with any unwanted items and turn it into cash for an amazing charity.
If you have something to auction, please feel free to list it on this thread so people know what's on offer.
Alternatively, you can make a donation on the night.

I don't think I've got anything anyone would want; most of it I'd probably have to pay people to carry off!
But I am willing to offer a poem on the subject of the buyer's choosing, to be delivered in 2 weeks (in time for Christmas!).
Bids start at 50p
ps I might be famous one day, in which case you'll have a right bargain on your hands. Otherwise, you'll have a poem that you might like and have given something to charity. :)
I won't be offended (much) if my poem goes for 55p.

This ingenious auction-piece idea could catch on, Marion. I'll be bidding on your poem. In fact, I'm starting the biddng right now at a tenner, which is a very small price to pay for a personalised poem.
