eddie gibbons fanclub
just to remind everyone that the first meeting will be held on july 12th in leicester ...
orders being taken for t shirts ...
Extra large for me, Ive.....
(big fan, see.....)
I thought it was the 14th??
ah yes stormy .. just testing to see if you are on the ball ...
I was until that bloody Lyneham smoothie turned up.
and a pint for anyone who can recite ken dodd's dad's dog's dead!
edDIE GIBBons' barrrmy army!
Prof, are you certain that you didn't write my poems?
Thing is - i don't recall being sober long enough to write a haiku.
As for Graham Taylor… how could I possibly top the Turnip?
the consigment of eddie gibbons pens is in ... you know the type where you invert it and all the clothes slide off? ... orders please ... haven't dared try it yet myself ...
I once swapped shirts with Eddie after a charity football match.
I was in intensive care for three weeks.
Ivory… what…ever…you…do…do…not…open…that…box.
...but he ordered me to fill in the blank diary...
er,
sorry.
Mr Gibbons has asked me to thank you on his behalf. He is rather tired and emotional at the moment due to Election (yes, with an 'l') Fatigue. He has never had a fan club before and doesn't know quite what to say. So, congratulations! You've managed to shut the Scouse Git up at last!
Respectfully,
J. Brodie (Ms)
How about a Spaghetti Si fanclub? No! Oh well carry on regardless
just to let you know the Dead Dog baseball caps have arrived ...
That'll be extra extra large, Ive.....(a Diddyman I most certainly am not)
Note to Eddie: got any anti-Graham Taylor poems ? I've just heard the little lush has been appointed to the board of my footy club!)
*getting peculiar mental image of prof's dimensions*
*pondering the eddie gibbons moon man Y fronts ...*
*still agog for prof's reply*
Now listen here, Ivy. Is this an uptake ? Or just a spanner in the works ? I'm not a lovesick nicorette anymore but still quite partial to a bout of parallel motion. Like the great man said: empty now grows every bed and there have been many variations on a dream deferred. Ever since the dog died I've been considering the lilly. But you, sweet Ivy, are welcome to skin the drum anytime (though let me warn you - I'm not very James Joyce in my man on the moon Y-fronts).
hahahhahahahha ..... *packs rope, books flight*
