I just did!

I got one of my poems published on an Anthology by United Press. I'm really quite proud, and my sister was almost in tears, so there, it can definitly happen. Its a very small acomplishment but hey its something to show the kids when I do have them.

I've just tried posting a comment, it seems to be lost in the ether of cyber space, or should that be the cyber of etherspace. What I did say before is that if anyone on this site could get published it would be you Soraia. Is that Soraya-Soray-Sore-eye or Sore eye - ah? Sorry it's the pedant in me. Are you going to the 'bash' in January?

Thank you very much for all your kind comments. I really do appreciate it, and Styxbroox, you may call me Mrs Andersen! (its my second name) : )~ What bash in January? Great, I finally get to meet in person all the wonderful characters of ABC tales.... I'm well chuffed too, I must say...and I had just given up the idea of applying for a competition which prize was publication in the UK and the US, because I thought I was not good enough. Two days later (and after I had missed the deadline) I get the book. That will teach me! Cheers everyone! Soraia xx
