Annoyed....

I have been a member here for some time and never had a problem but yesterday I convinced my boyfriend who I think is a talented poet to post his works here. He did so but didn't realise there was a limit and in his excitement to share his work with likeminded people he posted alot of his pieces. It was a simple mistake, I've been here ages and never realised there was a limit so can understand why he never noticed either, but he was inundated with messages, some very unfriendly about his error and some sarcastic ass called Chuck commented on one of his pieces saying "Oh great....a place to post poetry. I'll saturate it with poems and make lots of new friends!"

Was that necessary?

I don't think so and it angers me that people would be like that to a new member who made a simple mistake. A mistake that is obviously made alot as there is a piece about it on the homepage...

I've always been a big fan and promoter of this site but this behaviour from some of its members has really angered me.

Cassiopeia.

Probably a little harsh but it annoyed me and I wanted to draw attention to it quickly. I'm sure it was just youthful excitement but common sense suggests you don't burst onto a board and post a hundred poems in succession. Your friend should apologize to the writers who had their work bumped back three pages. Anyway I see it is sorted out now. Up to you if you want to stay angry or not. The ass called chuck.
Cassiopeia, I have had some time to think about what happened and I have decided you are right. My sarcasm was uncalled for. I should have just left it for tony to sort out. Please convey my apologies to your friend.
Thank you Chuck.

"I was jogging in the park when I had a bad asthmatic attack.... it was my own fault I should have heard them hiding!"

Of course that does open up a whole new field of discussion...'Should young poets be given a pass when it comes to common sense?' Anyone?
Is your boyfriend the sensitive type?
