Sheistenhausen! £17 a pop's a bit steep. Sorry to put a damper on this thread but is there no limit to how incredibly inaccessible some comps are?
I can just see the lanky, lithe man in the jungle who can run twice as fast than Usain Bolt and throw the javelin ten times further than anyone pulling his hair out, chastising his tiresome, backward government for ignoring his application to enter the Olympics, which he delivered by hand, through swamps and rivers full of crocs and snakes.
I don't suppose they'd take a tenner, would they?
Probably not Blighters :(
It is a shame that there is an air of exclusivity due to the entry fee, but I suppose the prize is larger than most.
They will admit more than one portfolio, but charge for each, which may be a device to make entrants a bit more selective and self critical of their own work?
Hey ho, I'll keep a look out for other *stuff*
Just spotted a writing comp for the Ilkley Lit Fest
