Thought I'd do you all a favour...ahem...and let you know about this one...

Uk Authors is a new writers' website, still in its infancy but definitely getting there.

Not only can you showcase your own work and gain exposure, but the site is also divided into areas of specific genre and interest. Each 'segment' has its own editor so, whether your thing is sci-fi, horror, romance, poetry or whatever, you can click directly onto your chosen genre and find out about markets, courses, competitions, agents, publishers, etc etc for that genre.

Oooh, almost forgot to mention - I'm 'humour' editor so, if anyone has anything they'd like me to add to my segment (great markets, up and coming competitions, links to humorous sites or zines (perhaps your own?), for example), just send me an email.

Hi Andrea, I was insulting myself, ie has been. I went, I did it and WOW, I've been excepted as the children's editor. Trouble is I ain't got a clue. Will have to go back and investigate!! Thanks Andrea, AJ :>)
