christmas shopping
i know, it's early to be talking about Christmas shopping, and probably unfashionable in these forums too, but i just thought i'd run by you some of the gifts i've bought, or am thinking of buying for my fellow abctalers. join in, if you feel like it.
Liana and Fish have been difficult to choose for this year. i know how happy they were with last year's presents - matching vibrators.
new pyjamas for Fish, i think. that way her current pair can make that essential first acquantainceship with the washing machine. and for Liana, i thought Delia Smith's How to Cook, volume 1 might be a necessary addition to her (i fear somewhat sparse) collection of cookery books.
books again for Funky Seagull - How to become a millionaire in 10 easy steps and something by Jeremy Clarkson on the environment.
pipes and Vaseline for Stephen and his good friend Edgar.
some fishfingers for Tom - fresh from the captain's table. i know he'll appreciate them, and the wonderful thing about fishfingers is you don't have to eat them straightaway. also, the coverpicture should save him the trouble of going to a Woolworth's booth, should he need to get his passport photo renewed.
matching 'John Travolta' chest-wigs for Tony and Hox, complete with gold medallions, flairs and Travolta dance move instructions.
a Steps CD and an annual subscription to the Daily Mail will keep Ralph happy the whole year round, i'm sure. hm, let me see, a 'Green Goddess' leotard for Andrea. a Mr Happy badge for Robert, and perhaps some of those crazy clown glasses that make your eyes look funny - save him putting on Fish's when he's wanting to goof around.
for Hen, was torn between a collection of essays by Richard Littlejohn and coupons for a good haircut at his local. eventually went for the Littlejohn annual - he'll have loads of fun with that, i know.
framed picture of the Queen for Missi and together with a Diana 'People's Princess' memorial mug.
now...
who've i missed out?
