I liked this, the whole Olde World thing and the descriptive writing. Lots of atmosphere, gutted it wasn't just a short story though as I wanna know what it's all about, hope the next parts already written so I won't have to wait too long for the next installment.

Cheers, nobody. Thanks for the thumbs-up and encouragement. Although it is part of a longer story (that's still taking shape) I did hope the piece would stand on its own. I find it more challenging trying to write a "straight" story, rather than something more odd, or "clever" or "experimental", whatever that is. I thought this might be a bit too dry, or stilted. Thanks again for the flagging and cheering it on.

Without a doubt it does stand on its own, I'm just curious as to what happens and am devoed to learn it's still in the planning, don't make me wait too long. nobody
