ahh some kind of spammy 'pretending to be spy-ware protection' thingy keeps popping up all over the place. I thought they were real till I noticed mispellings in the popups...
anyone know how to get rid of? please help!!!

If you have Windows, Microsoft have a malicious spyware removal/scan thing you can download from the website. Someone who knows a lot more about computers than I do will now tell you it's rubbish and doesn't work, but it did get rid of something similar for me a while ago.
Hope you find something that does the trick. I know it drives you mad...

Use Mozilla Firefox as your ISP - it blocks pretty well all pop-ups! It's free to download (just google 'mozilla' - or, even better, use clusty.com as your search engine).
