My literary achievement of 2010

My literary achievement of the year is quite modest. but I felt I could mention it.

This week for my Christmas blog I've written an 839-word palindrome.

It really does read the same both ways and unlike many palindromes it actually makes sense - kind of.

So how did I do it? Well basically by cheating.

I'm not proud of that, but how else was I to write something of that length that would also be bi-directional?

It's obviously not going to be Shakespeare, but if you'd like to read it, the link is here:

Maybe this could be the thread for us to share our literary achievements of 2010. I've set the bar about as low as it can get, so the only way to go now is up.

I didn’t get it at first Brooosh and I was contemplating putting my name down for the Intergalactic Cruise. As you said it’s a bit of a cheat but I’m still very impressed!
Thanks Mangone. I appreciate you telling me that on Christmas day! There's no point in denying it though, it is a cheat. I suppose the only bit of genuine palindromality I can claim is that I was able to reverse the final 'and' in the list of names in a relatively unobtrusive way. Of course my palindrome is a bit feeble when compared to the achievements of other ABCtalers such as Gavin Smith who had his debut novel, Veteran, published by Orion this year. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripboo...
Actually, even though cheating, I think really clever, for the spaceships name and and dna backward to end :)
